i'm happy. :)

went to nally's home with LF, SC n lu yday morning. it was great, jus talking n all, n i miss them! hahaha thanks nally for yr chocolates n shortbread, n yr mom for e dian xin! won't be seeing them for quite long, maybe after end of next sem, jun-jul. bye nally, will miss u when u head bk for glasgow!

for the second time last sat, i went to IMH. because it was a x'mas party for them, there was games and singing. and food! i ended up spending some time in e kitchen, with how hwe (can't rmbr hw to spell his name, hehe), serving e food that was 2 drumsticks n a piece of cake, n later washing n clearing up. went out to join them later, when they were singing carols. looking around, u wld think that most of them aren't watching n listening, or singing. i wld say tt some of them are in their own world. talked to e resident who sat beside me for a while; he's quite old n it was more difficult because he was less coherent. i couldn't understand some of what he was saying, but my guess is that it came from his imagination, not what had been real.

i was quite disappointed, because e resident whom i did a christmas hat for the week before, didn't show. don't know where he is, but i hope he's doing well. there was another resident who was walking around, not talking to anyone. he walked in front of 2 of our volunteers, n just looked beyond them, but there was nothing behind. i wonder if this is bcos of their hallucinations.

but i'm happy to see a few of them doing much better. :) there's a resident (whose name i can't mention bcos of e confidentality agreement we signed) who came over n said goodbye, bcos he was going bk to his ward. n later when we were bringing some chairs bk to the ward, he walked towards me n reached out for e chairs i was carrying, to carry it bk himself. he smiled, n i was n am dazzled by it. n later when he was looking in my direction, i waved goodbye since of e mask we had to wear, he couldn't see me smile bk. e feeling's very pleasant, like he were a really close friend, n there was alot of warmth in it. i hope i'll see him again during our next visit. its a little strange that he doesn't appear ill like many of e residents do, but almost like one of us, healthy n in a clear state of mind.
