no sch tml! :) bcos went for tml's lect on tues. must wk and revise hard!

exams are really arnd the corner. starts on 23 nov. n haven't done any substantial revision. aiyo.

finished e ops mgt and mno gp projects at last! haha :) enjoyed e mno proj, which i did with thanh, elvan, alvin and john. though it was a really long one, i gt to knw them btr through it. i love my group, haha.

ops mgt proj wasn't as gd, was a really short one (1 wk to prepare). gt to knw 2 exchange students who were in my gp, n they come from a really faraway place. haha. there's Oscar from Sweden, and Gianni from Germany. but don't really knw them well. find that they aren't as friendly to us asians, or perhaps they are just like that. oscar's nicer, n talked to him a bit.

i wonder if it'll be like that when gng to europe for sep. i hope nt! i dont want it to be like that. i always thought that when you're kind to ple, they'll reciprocate, at least a little. or do i come across as unfriendly? hmm.. dont understand. cld it be bcos we're asians n too young compared to them, so they're nt interested to become friends?

posting with my new nokia E71! :D bought abt a wk ago, its a smartphone n has a qwerty keypad. Screen's nt v big, but its fat, so can see websites pretty well. Grey steel, haha.

Haven't been blogging for so long. Been busy with hmwk, n e gp projects. All e deadlines r coming up or have alr gone by. less than a mth to final exams. Can't believe it, n wish it can be a little ltr. Gt a lot of things to revise, but haven't started on them bcos of the projects.

Haven't been v happy at sch, quite stressed actually. I guess we all just need to do our best, n it'll all come and go. Jiayou everyone. :)

helped out at the World Mental Health Day celebrations ydae, for IMH, at bugis, Cheng Yan Place. :) it was an afternoon event, n there were several booths from diff organisations. a lot of people shopping at bugis st ydae, bcos it was sat! all e pictures are wif my gp mate, so don't hav thm wif me.

although e reason for our helping out was bcos we wanted to make it part of our project, i felt quite touched listening to people who are passionate abt helping n making a difference in others' lives. i gt to knw Emily, who's a student in nyp. occupational therapy. she studied n worked in an accounting-related profession for a number of yrs, found it gave her no satisfaction, thus decided to change her career path & do what she enjoys-'making a difference in people's lives' as quoted from her.

i think that stigma still exists towards the mentally ill, people think they are dangerous, violent etc. but that's only if patients do not seek treatment! undergoing treatment, they are no more crazy than we ourselves are. even if they have recovered, but prospective employers get to knw abt their past medical condition, that will cause thm to lose out to others. i think its very unfair to them, that they're being seen as less of a whole, when they are not.

took a picture wif lin peifen, dj from 933 n MC for e street festival. :) she's pretty right? haha. so strange to see n talk to her, when in e past only hear her voice over e radio.

parted with e friends i gt to know from IMH in e evening, n headed home. :) got lots of uncompleted things to do! jiayou everyone!

haha its sunday! :)

had 2 mid-term tests yesterday, on sat afternoon. very annoying day btw! will explain y:

first up was Microecons test, venue lt18. gt seats bcos we went in earlier dan e rest, but it turned out thr was a serious shortage of seats. so e lecturer gt mine(the last-d24) & e second last class to get up n let e others take the seats 1st. he brought us to another LT, but it was oso full. so. no seats -__- spent almost e whole 1.5 hrs sitting on the floor steps using my legs as table. good thing was, e test is easy! :) a few qns repeated fr 07 ppr, haha.

n here's my lesson 4 e day: never take e internal shuttle bus w/out knowing e final stop it makes, esp if in a rush. had a second financial accounting test scheduled 45min ltr, n the venue was q far away. plus, it was raining. so ended up i wanted to get dwn at a stop, tt have to walk q a bit to get to e venue. but my friend didn't want bcos she didnt hav umbrella, n she tot e bus will go to another stop tats nearer. turns out it didn't. n we took it all e way to e final stop at kent vale, which is a distance outside e sch. e bus driver uncle said to wait 30min for e next bus. our test was starting in 15min. my god.

so we walked n walked. n didn't quite know where we were walking. wan lin n yingbin didn't bring umbrella, so i shared w thm my small one. aft a while i gt more frustrated n anxious (e test's starting soon)but tried to calm myself down. in e end i walked in e rain n when we finally reached, was very wet. gt there in time, haha agn a relief! :) but felt v cold bcos of e strong aircon, plus i was wet, hair messy n all. by e time e test ended an hr ltr, was almost dry.

haha tat's my eventful day! though finished e mid-terms alr, still hav q a lot of hmwk assignments to do. mz go do le. bye bye! :)
