day two of cny. :)

not going out today either, same as yday. it'll be a quiet new year, e way i prefer it to be. :)

didn't have much to do the past few days at home, but i did go to search for good pri one assessment books. noted a few, but haven't bought yet. will be seeing my pri one boy tmr evening aft work. :) not sure if i know the way, hope i won't get lost in je haha.

jan's ending soon, soon it'll be feb, then march, then apr. :) i think i should be studying in poly by end apr, but still not too sure now. will decide aft getting back the results in mar. also a bit worried abt e health checkup tt may be necessary before i can be admitted into e course, bcos my back feels painful whnever i bend.

very tired today.

didn't have time for lunch, so i spent four minutes eating my bread. :) and stayed for one hr after working hrs, until 645. hope to get the pay i deserve, if nt ot at least normal pay.

i've been having a lot of nt-very-pleasant dreams lately, i was thinking it might be related to the stress from work. work's not so bad, but sometimes v busy, n i tend to get anxious easily haha. :) it feels very strange there won't be work for four consecutive days, starting tmr! haha too used to my monotonous days already.

wasn't able to get new timesheets today bcos got back too late. but tomorrow will be going out in search for pri one assessment n textbooks for my tutee, whom i'll met next wed!

mid-week's here! :)

haha work was alright today, v busy but i feel more useful now, learning to do more things. there was supposed to be tuitn with e sec four indian boy today evening, but i've decided nt to teach him, bcos there had been a number of problems settling the days n time of the sessions.

now i have a primary one boy! will be starting next week, three subj-eng, math, chinese. i haven't had much experience teaching children so young, but i'll do my best haha. :)

i shouldn't be taking any more students to teach, bcos really quite busy now already. :) will be seeing the pri one boy twice a week after work. tt should be enough to handle.

hey :)

its again sunday, but its gg to be over soon. which means wrk for 5 consecutive days. :( haha i'll try nt to dread it so much. :)

the past wk's been quite monotonous, except being squeezed like ayam brand's canned sardines in the train some days haha. nt funny right? :)

maybe bcos the days have been so dull, i found something tt happened on e train station platform very humorous. :) it was morning peak hours, a lot of people crowding near the marked entrances to e train. then an smrt train conductor strode over to us:

"tui hou! tui hou! (stand back!) stand back fr the yellow line! "

"Safety first! u know, e train is a very powerful weapon. (i suppose he meant to get hit will confirm die). "

when the 2nd train arrived n he saw tt those waiting to board had crowded in front of the doors, "let's be good citizens, let those alighting get off first!" then poked his head inside the train, shouted "move in, move in! be considerate so more people can board!"

then he turned to us and continued, "those going to be late for work get on first! "

i only managed to get onto the 3rd train tt came, n he continued going on abt train safety very passionately as the doors closed.

then random Man A spoke, "he's right, you know." :)

although it wasn't very funny, particularly when what he spoke was true, it still caused e corners of my mouth to turn upwards haha. :)

remember, safety comes FIRST! haha :)

and oh, its gg to be CNY next week! no work for 2 days! jiayou all who're working & studying!

hello! :)

we've reached MID-WEEK! haha tt means e weekend is approaching already. looking forward to it becos no need to teach tuition, will be doing tt tmr 7pm aft work instead. :) i think will probably be tired by then, but will try my best to do it well. afterall it was myself tt initiated it, must commit n be a gd teacher haha. :)

oh, btw, i've gotten myself another tutee. its a primary 6 boy, will hav to help buy assessment books for him then his parents will pay me back haha, n will only be starting the week aft CNY. tt will be every sunday. :)

i'll teaching tuition later in e afternoon! :) first time, a bit afraid haha. will be going to my tuitee's house. i don't really know what to expect, since haven't had any experience, n furthermore i'll be preparing him for N levels this year. i hope it'll go well, n i can teach n help him get better grades.

its sunday today! :) will be working again tmr for the whole week. n CNY's 2 weeks away haha! wrote cards to send to my jc teachers yday night, becos won't be able to see them during e sch's celebration.

haven't been here for a few days.. :) e weekdays have been quite tiring, work from 830 to 545, but its alright. since dec, i've managed to learn to handle a number of things, be responsible for them.

saw my juniors' tag just now, i'm v happy to hear fr them haha. got to know today tt e O level results will be out on 12 jan, that's next mon. good luck to everyone receiving their results next week!

jiayou to all working and studying. let's give the new year a good start! :)
