no need to work today, haha:) HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE everyone!

had a busy day of work yday, did a lot of things fr tpting big n heavy packs of brochures to keying in students' particulars into their system. my eyes will be failing me soon... hav to check n check again to make sure i've not keyed wrongly. hopefully, my eyesight won't get worse from what it alr is. :)

will be teaching tuition soon i think, yeah! :) though it'll be hard work, n i haven't had much experience, i'm looking forward to it. really hope to help those i teach understand their math topics better. to see their grades improve will be a tremendous form of joy, haha. :)

school's starting soon for some. JIAYOU juniors n work v hard! n i hope those getting their o level results mid-jan will do v well. all e best atika, saiful, sohniya n kongyong! n jiayou venus for ur coming Os!

its monday! :) haha stayed in the office till abt 630, beyond my working hrs but don't hav ot pay. work was alright today, so long as there's work to do, i'm quite happy alr. :) the worst is there being nothing to do actually, haha.

proly won't be working on new yr's eve n new yr, becos my work's not impt mostly. nvm i'll hav plenty of time to rest then. cny's coming soon too! will proly eat a lot more than now, :) must rmbr to keep up with my skipping.

today' sunday, tt means work tmr. :( haha, shouldn't dread n complain so much. no use feeling sorry for myself over such a small matter. work's work, n the money earned will help a lot when i want to further my studies overseas haha. :) jiayou myself! and JY to all who're working as well!

haven't seen my friends for v long, esp the sec sch ones. :) haha hopefully will be meeting up with my sec2/5 friends this coming weekend! yea looking forward to it!

it xmas eve! happy early merry xmas to all! :)

don't hav to work today n tom haha:) work's been alright, my supervisor n colleagues are all quite nice, there's an auntie called sherry, always take care of me. yday during my 1hr lunch break, stayed inside e office becos v lonely to eat by myself. n was preparing for teaching math to an N level student next yr. then e stupid director complained to my supervisor, said i wasn't doing my work. **** her, alr tired becos busy in the morning, not paid for that one hr too. nvm shouldn't be thinking abt it anymore..

nally's back fr taiwan haha:) saw her pics on her blog. v nice esp e north pacific ocean :) e water's so blue! really hope can meet up w them n my juniors as well. miss them a lot!

read TIME a few days ago, and there's an article on sichuan, wenchuan province, recovering fr e deadly earthquake. saw a picture of the corpse of a mother n her daughter, buried under rubble becos e building collapsed. v sad to c tt these people, and so many others, didn't hav the chance to fulfill their dreams n lead good lives. it seems unfair, but such natural disasters cannot be avoided. hopefully, the china authorities won't cut corners in e reconstructn of their buildings, so this won't happen again.

hey..:)

i've finally gotten a temp job! admin assistant at MDIS, the private uni. will only be there for slightly more than 3 months, after which will be going poly most probably.

and one confirmed tuition assignment for myself. will be teaching N level math. a bit afraid there'll be problems when teaching, becos don't have any experience esp n level math. but content-wise, its quite similar to o level e. math, just less depth. have to prepare worksheets and mini tests all that, by jan too. :) though initially i had wanted more to call abt the tuition, i think a few's enough for me, afraid i can't handle more than 3 or 4.

ONE CONFIRMED tuition assignment! :) haha quite happy n relieved that my flyer was seen by some. two others called so far, but didn't get back. yday evening went for a walk in my neighbourhood, pasted my flyer at most of the bus-stops. i know illegal:P, but i'll try anyway. hopefully, more will see n call my number haha.

job-wise, still finding. sent quite a number of applications, but were not successful. i think tt may be becos my expected pay is too high. but i'll keep trying! :) the agent called today, about a few admin positions. not sure if i'll get one of them, but i hope so.

had an outing with my aunt's family yday. :) a relaxing outing, n gr8 food too haha. we went to Harbour City Restaurant inside the PSA building at noon. had dim sum, beijing roast duck, scallop tofu (their signature dish but i felt the tofu wasn't the best i had eaten. this is also the MOST expensive!), prawn rolls, char siew su tt i didn't eat, something fried that contained honeydew. v yummy haha! :)

the honeydew thing was the best out of all of them. but i committed a few crimes yday, eating prawns that was inside the prawn roll that i only knew after i dissect it apart, and the siew mai too had prawns. lucky it didn't make the itch worse haha. :)

it was quite good food they offer. the waitresses serving us were all quite middle-age aunties, have loud voices. ah fu's whole family was there, gu po, ah yi n daryl. the bill came later. $300++!

after our meal, we went to Telok Blangah Hill Park. my sandals dropped off at one point when we were going upslope becos it was wet n hardly any friction left b/w my foot n the shoe. quite embarrassing lol. :) then we went to see the Southern Ridges, walked a v long bridge halfway n turned back becos the car was still at the entrance. hadn't seen it before; it was good going there to see it. later we went to a carpark garden. a lot of pretty flowers n a pond with v colourful fishes that my mother liked a lot. it was quite a sight. :) but a bit bored becos we walked v slowly n kept stopping.

all in all, it was a good get-together. we hadn't had any since we were v young children. ty ah yi for organising it. :) tired by the end of the day, glad to be home.

still no luck in finding a suitable admin job. :( haha nvm will try harder!! finished watching On The First Beat, a hongkong drama abt police n all. very nice:) went to ZOO on wed! n free also (ty sc!). quite nice:) we saw rhino (smelly), white tigers, reptiles (a lot of snakes), baboons (with their pink bottoms haha). also watched a show on the rainforest. was entertaining n educational, talked abt conservation of nature, n how deforestation is bad. a lot of tourists n small children around too. though didn't walk v long, but quite tiring becos e weather was super humid.

also went Sentosa last wed! haha :) quite little people- lf, cy, nally, sheryl, benny, gabriel, ti, yong kuan, jeffrey, yl. we played beach volleyball, or attempted to, so in e end we just stood in a circle and passed e ball to one another haha. then a bit of soccer, but kept kicking e sand instead of e ball. went into e shelter, then played cards, n captains ball! was v fun:)
